Our outdoor 25m x 40m all weather surface is floodlit with a large selection of jumps to use. The post and railed arena is edged by 3 horizontal mirrors along one long side, as well as vertical mirrors at each end, all supplied by ‘Mirrors for Training‘. These mirrors are designed specifically for horse riders and enable the rider to see themselves and make adjustments accordingly. This especially helps ‘Visual’ learners.
Outdoor Arena
Our flood lit outdoor 25m x 40m arena is an all-weather arena with a Martin Collins surface and a large selection of jumps to use.
The arena is edged by post and rail, has three horizontal mirrors along one long side, as well as vertical mirrors at each end, all supplied by ‘Mirrors for Training’.
These mirrors are specifically for horse riders and aid the rider to assess and improve their position, all improving the learning experience.
Indoor Arena
Our Indoor 20 x 35 Arena has a sand and ‘Clopf’ surface, a professional surface provided by Martin Collins Enterprises, making it a light and airy facility.
The LED lighting means that lessons continue, whatever the season and allows our riders to ride in a covered arena through inclement weather.
Jumping field
We have a jumping field with a complete course of show jumps, a bank, ditch and some cross country jumps that continue round our grazing paddocks.
Summerhouse
We have a Summer House at the end of the arena, with seating and free tea/coffee making facilities and milk/water for the children.
There is also a very large sand pit and toys for the very young siblings who come to watch other members of their family riding. The whole summer house and play area is totally enclosed so children cannot wander off around the yard and makes riding at Moat Farm Riding Centre fun for the whole family.
